Houston we have a problem...
Grant has been in school for 4 days. His first day was Friday, he had Saturday, Sunday and Monday off becuase of the holiday. So when I picked him up today I asked him how school was. He said "I'm tired of school"..... Um O.K. not quite the answer I was looking for. I told him he has a long way to go before summer-so buckle up. I don't know if he is just literally tired or if he just isn't being stimulated enough at school. He knows how to write his first and last name, knows his letters, colors, shapes, can count to like 5,000 and has this HORRIBLE thirst for knowledge. We'll see what happens once they get a little more settled. Another problem is they have 27 kids in his class-for one teacher, that's a lot of kids to help, and a lot of kids to wait for help too. Grant is a great kid and will do well in whatever he does. I just hope he isn't bored.

The first week of school is always an adjustment. Grant will do so well and he'll probably be the teacher's right hand man! She has already told you she wishes she had 26 more Grants!! We love him and hope he has lots of great school days ahead. xoxo Nan and Grandpa
Yeah, when you are more settled, they'll just move him right up to teaching.
That is really hard.
What a waste if his brain isn't stimulated!
What a cutie!!! AH!
P.S. and we ALL love the music on your blog, espically
bopbop-c-bop lulu.
Boys have a hard time adjusting to school, I find! My theory is they sleep more than girls, at least in my case!
Hopefully he will realize after awhile that being around kids at school can be a lot funner than mulling around at home. At lease I think that's how Kason feels most of the time!:) I liked your "yabut" story. We have the same problems at our house! I need to call the exterminator!!:)
Matthew's class has 27 also! Matthew is always telling me how much he loves school but they make him work so hard. Ha! He also comes home starving and tired (which equals grouchy). Full day K is hard on these kids!
