First let me get this out-this pic of Claire is OLD! Her hair is not this short!! I just liked the eyes and thought it would add to the story.
That being said here goes.
So Monday night, Claire woke up crying. I went in to see what was going on. Somehow she had wedged herself in between her bed and the wall. (so she was her feet were on the floor and she was leaning over on her bed.) I hopped up on her bed to pull her out and try as I could, she wouldn't budge. I dashed out of the room and yelled in a loud whisper"Cam, come quick! Claire is stuck" Cam came in the room in a TOTAL daze. I told him to bend down with me and pull the bed of from the wall so we could get Claire out. I bent down and he just stood there! I was like "HELLO!" After I told him several times he finally helped me pull the bed out. Claire was not even phased by it and went right to sleep. Back in our room, Cam said "Sorry, I just woke up and I can't perform that well!" He was still waking up. I just started laughing and laughing! The difference between moms and dads I guess. Moms I think have the ability to be woken up out of a dead sleep and be awake and alert and I guess dads just can't do that. The best part is I asked him about it the next moring and he had no clue what had gone on at all that night! Poor guy is so stressed with school that I think he is just dead to the world when he sleeps.

Ha - we have the same sorts of experiences around here...I'm in full-blown action mode...and Greg doesn't have a clue that anything happened.
Ha! If we had a sleepy husband contest, I ASSURE you... D would win. If you ever wonder what I need for Christmas someday, it's the world's loudest megaphone for D.
I loved how you told that story... one of those laugh-out-loud blog reading moments, thanks!
That is so funny! Andy is the same way. In fact, when he used to go out of town all the time, he asked me once if I ever got worried being by myself with the kids at night. I remember thinking...um, what's the difference? Either way...if trouble comes it's going to be me that wakes up and handles it. :) So funny! Poor little Claire!
That is so funny! I especially love that he didn't remember it!
